In all honesty, I think this is the responsibility of the coach! I cheer for a level 6 All Star team and because we're all out of HS, some have kids and think we're grown, a lot of attitudes fly around the gym sometimes. It really took our coach to sit us down and say "This is not what this team is about! It's not about attitudes, bossiness, and all the negative aspects" Once we really got our feelings out in the open, practice became more productive. Granted we still have minor issues at times, but we've pulled together because in the end, no one wants to lose a championship title because we couldn't mend as a team. Talk to them yourself and then get your coach involved. Have her let them know that if they can't pull it together, the team will disband.

Attitude.. Being honest, you sound as though you think that you are God's gift to cheer leading. And when were you assigned to be in charge? I suggest that you chill a little about it or you will find yourself with no friends. My daughters were cheer leaders from pre school through college. I have known a lot of cheer leaders and you have to be a part of the team. Everyone doesn't put the same importance on it as others.. Try chilling out and not showing off as much. You will do fine..

do somethin like:
whoever can think of the most & best cheers and moves wins a big prize
do like a gift card to somewhere (but talk to the coach if she/he would be willing to pay for some of it [or all] just make sure its OK with them 2!)
